چکیده

Satellite communication constitutes a promising solution for the sixth generation (6 G) wireless networks in terms of providing global services. In order to provide cost-effective satellite network, we propose novel medium-earth-orbit (MEO) aided integrated-navigation-and-communication (INAC) network. To overcome severe path loss MEO satellites, conceive network simultaneous serving navigation and ground users by adopting non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technique reconfigurable intelligent surface technique. Based on power allocation strategies, communication-oriented (CO-) navigation-oriented (NO-) INAC scenarios are proposed. We first derive closed-form expressions new channel statistics, outage probability capacity INAC-user. For gleaning further insights, diversity orders accuracy evaluated illustrating performance networks. According our analysis, when RIS elements sufficient, proposed can perform better than conventional terrestrial capacity. Numerical results provided confirming that NO-INAC CO-INAC have superior low signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) regimes high SNR regimes, respectively, which indicates hybrid CO/NO-INAC is preferable.

Performance Evaluation and Analysis for Gravity Matching Aided Navigation

Simulation tests were accomplished in this paper to evaluate the performance of gravity matching aided navigation (GMAN). Four essential factors were focused in this study to quantitatively evaluate the performance: gravity database (DB) resolution, fitting degree of gravity measurements, number of samples in matching, and gravity changes in the matching area. Marine gravity anomaly DB derived ...

Satellite Communication and Navigation Integrated Signal

Under the rapid development of satellite communication systems and satellite navigation systems, there is an urgent need to combine the two together in order to achieve location-based services, etc. Despite the long relationship history of navigation and communication, the two satellite systems are basically independent of each other. As a result, terminal size tends to be relatively large, and...

Performance Improvement of Expanded Integrated Local Area Networks (RESEARCH NOTE)

In Local Area Networks (LAN) connected together by bridges, flow control and smooth traffic in the network is very important. However, congestion at bridges can cause intensive loss of received frames. In addition, the received frames are thrown away and have to be retransmitted by the source station, which causes more congestion and massive reduction in the overall network throughput. The netw...

Distributed Signals of Opportunity Aided Inertial Navigation with Intermittent Communication

A distributed signal of opportunity (SOP)-aided inertial navigation system (INS) framework is presented and studied for vehicles collaborating in an imperfect communication channel. The following scenario is considered. Multiple autonomous vehicles (AVs) are aiding their onboard INSs with global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals. The AVs draw pseudorange observations from unknown SOPs ...
